This was my first time staying at this location. I have a child in college in the area and so I have driven past several times. The hotel is lovely, my room was wonderful and the fitness center was great. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

The location was perfect for the local concert venue and had several wonderful restaurant options on site. Bedding was very comfortable with beautiful appointments. There was a cozy lobby area with a handsome chess board that we used twice! Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Definitely a good stay!

Breakfast was good, the William and Henry restaurant was excellent and the Skyline was also excellent.

The location is good if you are looking for a spot downtown. The hotel provides excellent service and accommodations with several different on-site restaurants. Nice , clean, spacious rooms. My wife loves the white robes provided in the rooms.

The historic aspect was beautiful and right down the block from our destination to our stay. Very helpful staff.

The elegance of the property can not be overstated. Not a speck of dust can be detected. It carries an air of being lovingly maintained. Tangible history still lives in the walls. The Virginia truly feels like American Royalty. Amazingly, it was priced so that my kids and I (a middle class group) could enjoy all of the opulence and history. We all agree that it was the nicest stay we have ever had!

Beautiful old building on the edge of downtown. Rooftop restaurant had nice views and good food. Room was pretty, too. Walking distance to restaurants and Lynchburg central market.

Each time I’ve stayed here I have been impressed by the friendly and professional staff. The rooms are well appointed and quiet. I appreciate the fitness room and that it is clean with up to date equipment.

What’s not to like? Beautiful on the inside and out. Very luxurious feel and super clean. The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on and very spacious rooms. Staff was super helpful and friendly and the cafe was delicious. Cannot wait to stay here again!
